The Civic Orchestra
The Yuma Civic Orchestra is a chamber orchestra for the Advanced Musician playing University level repertoire. All string musicians must be proficient in position work. The need for private music instruction is stressed. Performing attire is formal. The Civic Orchestra maintains a high profile throughout Yuma and Arizona. They perform frequently with exceptional quality concerts.
The Civic Orchestra rehearses on Tuesday evenings at Cibola High School located at 4100 West 20th Street (Go to the back of school from 18th Street and enter the "Fine Arts" Building.) They meet in room 704 from 6:45 to 9:15.
