CAMPER ELIGIBILITY

Any string players who fit somewhere in the following criteria are welcome.  Students under 18 years of age needing hotel accommodations must be accompanied by a chaperone.

Students will be divided into four levels of playing expertise.

• Symphonia Orchestra (Level 5) students should be able to:
  • Read music
  • Play a 3 octave Melodic Minor scale
  • Be proficient in music equivalent to at least Suzuki Book #5
• Chamber Orchestra (Level 4) students should be able to:
  • Read music
  • Play a 2 octave Melodic Minor scale
  • Be proficient in music equivalent to at least Suzuki Book #3
• Reading Orchestra (Level 2) students should be able to:
  • Read music
  • Play a 2 octave G Major scale
  • Be proficient in music equivalent to at least Suzuki Book, #2
• Follow the Leader Orchestra  (Level 1) students will:
  • Play by rote at the level equivalent to the first one-half of Suzuki Book #1
